DVRC Receives Audubon Society Award - November 9, 2013

Desert Rivers Audubon Society presented a plaque in appreciation and recognition of the Nature Walk. Nomination for this award came from Audubon member Peggy Thomas. Ms. Thomas, who is wheelchair bound, enjoys the ease of use and quiet surroundings plus all the birds, plants and wildlife that inhabit the trail. Our trail was one of several locations that members of the Society would be visiting as a full day outing. Dreamland Board member Lyle Wood accepted the plaque to be posted at the trail head.
