Reporting Neighborhood Streetlight IssuesDo you have a streetlight near your home in Dreamland Villa that is either out, not working properly or even worse, the pole has been hit by a vehicle? Help can be on the way if you call and report it.
Streetlight issues include:
Who you call depends on if there is a number on the side of the pole about 6-8 feet up from the ground.
If there isn't a number, then it is a City of Mesa streetlight. Streetlights maintained by the City of Mesa are NOT numbered. Be prepared to describe the location and the issue when you call their streetlight division at (480) 644-3191. Mesa also has an online site to report streetlight outages or other issues, mesaaz.gov/residents/streets-transportation/streetlights-signs-striping.
If a streetlight pole has a number on it, then it is maintained by Salt River Project (SRP). Call SRP at (602) 236-8888 to report an issue. Be prepared to provide the pole number and location to them.
If you are unsure who to call or what the pole number is, start with SRP and they will help you report it.
Don’t settle for dark when light is available. Repairs could take up to four weeks after being reported. Do not hesitate to call the proper agency when you notice a streetlight issue. |
