Sponsored Associate Membership

On January 20th, 2024, the Dreamland Villa members approved a motion to authorize the formation of a new class of membership known as Sponsored Associate Members. The purpose of creating this class of membership is to provide for those who live outside of our community to become a member to enjoy the amenities and activities Dreamland Villa provides.

These members must be sponsored by an individual voting member (a person who lives in Dreamland and has paid their annual dues is a voting member) they may sponsor a relative, friend, or co-worker living outside of Dreamland to become a member.

This form of membership has limitations. They must pay the annual fees, are not able to vote on any of the management functions, and they must be at least 55 years of age. They are not allowed to bring guests to any amenity or activity of Dreamland Villa other than those that authorize outside residence to attend by paying a non-member additional fee for the cost of the event. They must follow all the rules and regulations of the organization.

Should you have a friend, relative or co-worker you would like to sponsor as a member of Dreamland Villa, a link to the application form is available below or in the office. The application must be completed by both the sponsor and the applicant requesting sponsored associate membership. Once received the board of directors will review the application and determine if membership should be granted. Should the sponsor move from Dreamland Villa the Sponsored Associate Member would need to find a new sponsor.

This provides the responsibility of the sponsor to ensure that their sponsorship is of an individual that will work to improve our community and maintain our facilities. Each year there will be a limit of 50 individuals who may receive Sponsored Associate Membership.
