Patti Rockwood

My name is Patti Rockwood. My business background began in Superior, Wisconsin where I grew up starting with Maurice's clothing store as an assistant buyer. In 1975 I was on the board of directors with the Jaycettes where I was voted for V.P. in 1977. During my sales and marketing career in Minneapolis, Minnesota I also became a board member for the Chamber of Commerce.

I moved to Arizona in 1985 and continued in my career eventually owning a bar and grill business. As a motivated and caring business owner, I rewarded my employees with many bonuses to enhance their lives. I provided catering and decorating for ongoing events including charities such as Hospice, Battered women and others.

My parents purchased a home in Dreamland Villa and owned their home for 34 years. I bought their home in 2010 after being the caregiver for my mother for a few years. Since, I have been loving the 55+ community and the friendliness of all the people along with the ongoing activities.

I would like the opportunity to use my drive and experience as an Interim Director to keep us moving forward. I have a sincere interest in seeing Dreamland Villa stay as a great place to live. I believe that by all of us working together we can make it happen once again.
