Coffee Talks & Other Input Sessions

The Coffee Talks involve enjoying a cup of coffee and a goodie while receiving a briefing by members of the Strategic Planning Committe. This is followed by small group discussions, where individual comments are transcribed on flip charts. The attendees are then rejoined for the conclusion of the program.  Attendees are asked to fill out a brief survey about the community and an evaluation about their coffee talk experience.

The Coffee Talks are open to ALL Dreamland Villa residents. In fact, please invite anyone you know who is not a member of DVRC. We want to hear from non-mmebers to get their input and answer their questions!

FLIPCHART COMMENTS:

Each Coffee Talk has a small group session with a facilitator. Each facilitator transcribes the comments as they are stated. This is a difficult task. It is important to make sure the facilitator marks down your comment the way you meant it to help ensure accuracy.

Note: The flipchart comments are limited to what the facilitator is able to write at the time. We will try our best to interpret the intent of each comment. Please keep in mind we are holding at least three Coffee Talks and that is a lot of transcribing. If you find that your comment has not been correctly stated, or was omitted, you may send it to: [email protected]. 

All flipchart comments, survey and evaluation results for each coffee talk will be posted here on the DVRC Website.
